Ceremony

I think that sometimes brides get really excited and get wrapped up in the decor of the wedding ((although so fun and exciting)) they are forgetting what the most important part really is, the ceremony. The ceremony is where you make that commitment to your best friend to love them through it all "sickness and in health." So try to think about how to make your ceremony special.

The ceremony is a great time to honor those that you love. Your mother or fathers for example. You could write a letter and have it read at the ceremony. You could have both of your parents walk you down the aisle and give you away together. Many couples give single roses to the mothers as a sign of honor.

In my own wedding, we had the parents put together about a 2-3 minute audio session. Then, put it together with pictures of us with them, and us together as a couple. It was a very personal way for them to be a part of the cereomny.

However you choose to have your ceremony, just remember how important it is. What an exciting part of your life! That is the moment you are joined together with your partner "till death do us part."

Centerpieces

Many times flowers, although beautiful, can be expensive. I personally love flowers of some kind at a wedding, but, these are just some alternatives to having so many. All of these looks could be altered to fit the feel or 'personality' of your wedding.

Decor

One of the most exciting parts about planning for a wedding is the decor! But, it can also be one of the most expensive. Here is a cute way to decorate your rehearsal, church, aisle, etc. This has also become one of my favorite ways to add a sweet touch. I love the look of hanging pom poms over tables it makes it so fun and an easy way to add a 'pop' of color.

You can also hang lanterns such a great way to add some romantic lighting! I have attached a website that offers them all at a great price. (http://www.asianimportstore.com/)

This is another look for aisle decor. Be creative with what you do with your decorating. Your decor designs are a great way to show 'personality' of the two of you! Have fun with it :)

The Dress

The Dress!!
This is something that many girls have been dreaming
of since they were 5 years old. Your wedding day is the day you
get to marry your best friend. One of the best days of your life, and
that is why you want your dress to be perfect! I was doing some
research on what style of dress would be best for each body shape,
and this is what I have come up with from various sites.

This style is called the 'Empire Waist'. It is for the petite
or women who do not have a defined waist line, it is also
recommended for the inverted pear shape.

This style is called the 'Ball Gown.' This style dress is
recommended for a more full figured, pear shaped body, or thin.

This style is called the 'Sheath Gown.' It is recommended
for a thin and petite framed women. Sometimes, it is also
recommend for an hour glass shape.

This style is called the 'Mermaid.' This style of dress
is made for those women that have a figure, more of an
hour glass shape.

When starting to shop, print out pictures of gowns that you like. This will help you explain to your bridal specialist what your perfect dress looks like. - Alfred Angelo

Don't be swayed by trends. Choose a gown that's true to your style and your body. - Alfred Angelo

Don't forget this is a fun time! Take friends and family
and make it memorable, laugh, take pictures, and embrace
every moment. Make the most of it! If you go to a bridal
store and begin to get overwhelmed just relax and have
fun with it. Also, if you don't find THE dress right away that is
OK! It took 4 trips for me to find THE dress!

Enjoy!
