Photography Thoughts
One thing you will want to take into consideration when choosing a photographer is that the pictures are one of the only things you will have to remember your special day. Make sure that you communicate to your photographer exactly what you want captured. Many photographers suggest that you give them some sort of a checklist to help them know who and what you would like to have pictures of :) When making your checklist try to think thru your wedding day and what is most important to you. You can also look thru photographers galleries and get more ideas :)

A few Pictures from Ruenette's Wedding this weekend. She chose a 'fall look' and went with the oranges, burgundy, and gold color scheme. Her wedding was located just outside the Century Center in a tent. It was a beautiful day to have a wedding!
We will be at a show in the Century Center the first weekend in October. So you can look for us there!

Columns are great for decor at your wedding. You can use them from the alter for a romantic setting for your vows to a beautiful backdrop behind the head table. They can be wrapped in fabric with lights to add a subtle romantic feel or left white and bold! Its whatever you want for your special day!

Feathers Making a Comeback!
Feathers are making a serious comeback in weddings! Whether its ostrich feathers or peacock feathers, it can bring a sense of love, and romance back into a wedding. Brides are going wild over these feathers! They are used anywhere from the bouquet, used as table arrangements, to the decorations on the cake. Your options are endless!

Something Old - symbolizes the continuity of transition from two single people to a married couple.’ Something New - represents a transition to adulthood upon marriage. Something Borrowed - represents something that had been borrowed from a happily married couple, hoping that their good fortune would be shared. Something Blue - symbolizes purity, constancy and fidelity.
There are many many different ways that brides choose to wear or incorporated this into their wedding. I have chosen a few that I really like and think may be different and cute :)

Ceremony
I think that sometimes brides get really excited and get wrapped up in the decor of the wedding ((although so fun and exciting)) they are forgetting what the most important part really is, the ceremony. The ceremony is where you make that commitment to your best friend to love them through it all "sickness and in health." So try to think about how to make your ceremony special.
The ceremony is a great time to honor those that you love. Your mother or fathers for example. You could write a letter and have it read at the ceremony. You could have both of your parents walk you down the aisle and give you away together. Many couples give single roses to the mothers as a sign of honor.
In my own wedding, we had the parents put together about a 2-3 minute audio session. Then, put it together with pictures of us with them, and us together as a couple. It was a very personal way for them to be a part of the cereomny.
However you choose to have your ceremony, just remember how important it is. What an exciting part of your life! That is the moment you are joined together with your partner "till death do us part."
